1. Overview
The Embassy of Ireland, South Korea, and The Irish Association of Korea are very proud to announce the launch of the 2017 “My Irish Dream’ video Competition for university students in Korea.
It also allows contestants to compete for an opportunity to experience Ireland from an educational, cultural, and academic perspective.
The competition seeks to raise awareness about Ireland and the opportunities through Education and Travel that Ireland can offer Korean students.
Participants are invited to make a fun, creative 3 minute long video on the theme “My Irish Dream”. The entrants are free to share their experiences, impressions and hopes within the context of the topic and are encouraged to film on location in Korea.
First prize will include two weeks of study in the Emerald Cultural Institute (www.eci.ie), including accommodation, return flights from Korea to Dublin, and spending money. Second prize will receive return flights from Korea to Dublin. The final runner up will receive a cultural prize.
2. Topic
Participants are invited to submit a fun, creative 3 minutes video. The video must be a maximum of 3 minutes with 90 seconds or more in spoken English.
3. Rules
The competition is open to enrolled, full time, under-graduate Korean students.
The competition is NOT open to exchange students or students who use English as their
first language.
Submissions must be a maximum of 3 minutes with 90 seconds or more spoken in
English by the entrant.
All work must be original work and must NOT have received an award from another
contest.
Follow copyright laws. Be sure that you have permission to use any music, video, or
animation that appears in your video.
The organizers will not be held responsible for, any unauthorized inclusion of any
content or materials within or relating to the submitted video.
No commercial, abusive or offensive content is permitted.
Prize winners must confirm their travel details by May 31st 2018.
4. Guidelines
First, make a video of no longer than 3 minutes. (Videos can be made using phones, digital camera or any digital device)
Second, upload on www.youtube.com
Third, fill out the application form available on the Irish Association of Korea website.

6. Prizes
* If your lecturer/ professor introduced you to the competition please nominate them on your application form. The Grand prize winner’s professor/lecturer will win two tickets to a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Ireland, and his/her University will receive a donation of Irish literature from the Embassy of Ireland.
7. Notices
Prize winning entries may be utilized by the Irish Association of Korea for promotion of the Association and its activities, so it must be available for media publicity. Prizes will be forfeited if the video is found to have been plagiarized or if it has won an award in another competition.

“내가 꿈꾸는 아일랜드” 동영상 공모전 My Irish Dream Video Competition
1. 개요
주한 아일랜드 대사관(The Embassy of Ireland), 대한민국, 그리고 한국 아일랜드 협회 (The Irish Association of Korea)에서는 한국 대학생을 위한 2018 “내가 꿈꾸는 아일랜드” 동영상 공모전을 개최합니다. 이번 공모전은 한국 대학생들에게 아일랜드에 대해 알리 고, 아일랜드에서의 영어 어학 연수 기회 및 여행의 기회를 제공하고자 개최 되었습니 다. 본 공모전에서 우승한 학생에게는 아일랜드 문화를 경험하며 영어도 배울 수 있는 어학연수의 기회가 주어집니다.
참가자 분들은 “내가 꿈꾸는 아일랜드(My Irish Dream)” 라는 주제에 맞게 재미있고 창 의적인 동영상을 3분 내외로 만들어 제출하시면 됩니다. 아일랜드와 관련한 본인의 에 피소드, 아일랜드에 대해서 여러분이 갖고 있는 생각 등을 자유롭게 영상에 담아 공유 해 주세요. 또한 한국에서 촬영된 영상을 보내주실 것을 적극 권장합니다.
공모전 1등 수상자에게는 숙박, 한국-더블린 왕복 항공권, 소액의 상금을 포함한 Emerald Cultural Institute (www.eci.ie) 어학원에서의 2주간 어학연수 기회가 주어집니다. 2등에게는 한국-아일랜드 왕복 항공권이, 이외 입상자에게도 다양한 상품이 제공됩니다.

3. 규정
참가자는 반드시 국내 대학교에 재학/휴학 중인 대학생이어야 합니다.
모국어가 영어인 대학생 및 교환학생은 참가할 수 없습니다.
동영상에는 참가자의 영어 내레이션이 반드시 90초 이상 포함되어야 합니다.
동영상은 반드시 원저작물이어야 하며 다른 공모전에 입상된 작품은 허용되지 않습
니다.
저작권법에따라여러분동영상에음악,영상,애니메이션등이들어가는경우반
드시 허가를 받고 사용하시길 바랍니다.
저작권법을어기실경우에발생하는그어떤불이익에대하여공모전주최사는책
임을 지지 않습니다.
영상 내 상업적인 홍보내용이나 폭력적인 내용은 허용되지 않습니다.
1등 및 2등은 한국-더블린 왕복 항공권 예약을 위해 반드시 2018년 5월 31일까지 여 행 일정을 확정하여 협회에 알려야 합니다.
4. 가이드라인
첫째, 최대 3분이 넘지 않는 동영상을 만드세요. (영상은 반드시 핸드폰, 디지털 카메라 혹은 디지털 기기로 촬영된 것이어야 합니다.)
둘째, 만든 동영상을 유튜브 웹사이트( www.youtube.com )에 올려 주세요.
셋째, 한국 아일랜드 협회( www.irishassociationofkorea.kr ) 에서 신청서를 다운받아

7. 공지사항
제출한 동영상은 한국 아일랜드 협회(I.A.K)에서 홍보 등을 목적으로 활용 할 수 있음을 알려드리며, 공모전에 참가하면 본 규칙에 동의하는 것으로 간주됩니다. 또한 입상 후 작품이 표절되었거나 다른 공모전에 입상된 작품임이 밝혀진 경우에는 수상이 취소될 수 있습니다.
8. 심사항목
제출한 동영상은 한국 아일랜드 협회 (I.A.K), 주한 아일랜드 대사관과 주최자가 선발한 공모전 평가위원회에서 심사하며, 심사항목은 다음과 같습니다.
