The Irish Association of Korea (IAK) is committed to supporting the wellbeing of Irish citizens and friends of Ireland living across Korea. We understand that being far from home can present unique challenges, and our welfare initiatives aim to ensure that everyone in our community feels supported, connected, and empowered.

Our mission is to promote the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of the Irish community in Korea by providing access to mental health resources, facilitating physical health and safety programs, and fostering a sense of belonging through community engagement and support.

Mental Health Support
We recognize that mental health is a critical aspect of overall wellbeing. Through partnerships and trusted contacts, we provide access to tailored support:

Helplink Mental Health Services: In partnership with Helplink, we offer free, confidential mental health support for Irish citizens in Korea experiencing low-risk mental health challenges.

Higher-Risk Support: For individuals facing more complex or higher-risk issues, we facilitate access to professional support via our trusted consultant network. This is currently managed manually to ensure a personalized approach.
